Sunday 5th September sees the annual celebration of the town's seaside heritage - BOGNOR REGIS SANDS OF TIME SEASIDE FESTIVAL.

The event will take place on one day only this year and offers old favourites as well as some new things to try. Donkey rides are available to the east of the bandstand and the Sandcastle Competition offers a top prize £100 for adult/family creations and £60 for the children-only competition.

As usual, the classic and vintage cars will parade through the town mid morning on Sunday, before parking along the Esplanade. The ever-popular open-top bus rides begin at 12 noon and other activities include displays and exhibitions, and a Charity Fair and Craft Fair in the marquee in Waterloo Square Garden. Children's activities will also take place in Waterloo Square.

There is a wide range of entertainment lined up, ranging from Punch & Judy to Worthing Silver Band. There will be a steel band, a clown, local pom pom troupes and music from a variety of performers. A Jive exhibition will take place on the decking on the Promenade.
