St Leonard's Church - Churches
The original church in Seaford is thought to date from around AD1090. This first church was built to a very simple cruciform plan, probably with a central tower. Since then the church has been enlarged and extended to meet the needs of the town.
Situated in the town centre, the church today is still developing and growing. It has a large, regular and varied congregation which is privileged to be able to experience a wide range of styles from the traditional to the contemporary. St. Leonard's has a warm, caring fellowship and visitors to Seaford are always most welcome to share in worship.
A warm welcome awaits everyone.
