Seaford Health Store has been owned by husband and wife team, David and Helen Pollard, for the last 17 years and it is now one of the most successful independent health shops in the South East.
Extended again recently, it contains everything you would expect to find in a first class health shop and more.
Vitamins and herbal supplements form an integral part of the business and David and Helen are the main Quest suppliers for the area, offering the full range. Solgar, Nature's Aid, Bioforce, Lifeplan and all the major brands also play their part. The emphasis is on quality - the products really work.
Weleda and Nelson homoeopathic products, Bach flower remedies and the Australian flower remedies are all stocked, along with Hopi ear candles and body building powders and tablets.
We should all be aware that chemicals can damage our skin so the whole range of Faith In Nature shampoos and soaps are available, sodium lauryl sulphate and other nasty chemicals are not included in the ingredients!
David and Helen also stock the Green Things range. The products vary from face creams to hand creams to foot balms etc. and contain pure essential oils, as opposed to the artificial flavours in most other products.
People with intolerances are well catered for. If you are gluten, wheat or dairy intolerant, David and Helen have a wide range of foods to suit you. Also diabetics can choose from a massive range of jams, biscuits, sweets and chocolates.
Tiptree is a name synonymous with quality jams and marmalades and Seaford Health Store stock the whole range. The shelves are packed with conserves, jellies, lemon curd and tons of mincemeat.
What is life without Walkers' shortbread? That is something you don't need to ask in this shop. It has every sort of shortbread that you can possible imagine on the shelves.
Organic? The answer is yes, a fantastic range of fresh fruit and vegetables at prices to put the supermarkets to shame. Also, there are plenty of other organic products to choose from, many under the Infinity label.
