Annecy is a Catholic voluntary aided Primary School which strives to be a positive force in the life of the Church. The pupils are encouraged in a living tradition of Faith. The school maintains the highest ideals within the national education system. It aims to be a witness to the Church and a servant to the community. Its ultimate concern is to assist all those involved with it in their Journey to God.
Situated in Seaford, Annecy Catholic Primary School serves the parishes of St Thomas More, Seaford; Sacred Heart, Newhaven and Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, Peacehaven. A bus service is available for pupils living in Newhaven and Peacehaven. Whilst it exists primarily for the children of Catholic families, applications for children from other Christian families are also welcomed.
RE is the central focus of a broad and balanced curriculum offered at Annecy School. Through a strong Teaching and Learning Policy the Staff aim to support the children in attaining their personal best academically.
Children are encouraged to participate in the extra curricular activities provided through sport, music and drama. They also have opportunities to be involved with drama productions, County Music Festivals, athletics and school sports teams.
The tradition of Annecy stems from its history and association with the Sisters of Providence who originally founded the school and with whom a strong connection still exists.
Annecy is a small friendly school that endeavours to maintain good, supportive links between home, school and parish.
